Managers across the Penn State Health system are distributing Level 1 masks and face shields to their employees who work on-site. Please reference the guidance for proper donning and doffing of Level 1 masks and face shields for reuse posted on the COVID-19 Infonet page.
Hershey Medical Center
Hershey Medical Center managers can pick up masks and face shields at the mask distribution center each Tuesday from 12 to 3 p.m. in the hospital Anteroom (HG305). The next distribution session will be on Tuesday, April 14.
- Managers should only order supplies for employees working on-site for the next seven days.
- They can fill out this order form and bring it with them. Blank forms are also available.
During the second distribution session on April 7, the Hershey Medical Center distributed 6,903 Level I masks and 1,208 face shields.
St. Joseph Medical Center
St. Joseph Medical Center managers can pick up masks in the Incident Command Center in Franciscan Room B. Email Jennifer Jones-Lapp with the estimated number of masks needed daily. Managers should plan for all shifts in a 24-hour period. The masks are available for pick-up during the following times:
- 7-7:45 a.m.
- 8:30-8:45 a.m.
- 3-3:45 p.m.
Those who cannot pick up their supply for the day should contact Jones-Lapp to arrange a pick-up. If an employee needs a mask during an off-shift, contact the house supervisor.
St. Joseph Downtown Campus and satellite locations
For the St. Joseph Downtown Campus and satellite locations, masks are distributed at the building entrances during employee screenings. Employees can get subsequent masks directly through their department.
Penn State Health Medical Group
Penn State Health Medical Group site managers are distributing masks and face shields to employees at the outpatient locations.
