Hershey Medical Center’s Rotunda Café will serve a free Thanksgiving meal to on-duty faculty, staff and patients and their families late Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon.
Senior leadership and members of the food services team will serve the meal from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. The Rotunda Café will close one hour before each meal for set-up. The café will reopen the next morning at 6:30 a.m.
Clinical staff should go to the head of the line for fast service.
The Rotunda Café will open Thanksgiving Day for breakfast from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Starbucks’ hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Au Bon Pain in the College of Medicine will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
The following locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day:
- Au Bon Pain
- Sunnyside Café ― Academic Support Building
- Corner Café ― University Physician Center
- Café East ― 30 Hope Drive
- Tree House Café ― Children’s Hospital (Children’s Hospital patient meals will be served from the kitchen at Tree House.)
All food service operations will resume regular hours on Friday, Nov. 29, with two exceptions:
- Corner Café will close at 1:30 p.m.
- Au Bon Pain will remain closed.
