Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute will share funding opportunities unique to the institute at its next Bench to Bedside and Beyond Seminar Series event taking place noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 16 in Room H4504 at Penn State College of Medicine/Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

In addition to the in-person presentation at the College of Medicine, the session will be streamed to 116 Henderson at University Park and will stream online.

Online registration is requested; the online streaming link is provided upon registration.

Charity Sauder, the institute’s administrative director, will discuss several funding opportunities available through the institute. These include the Bridges to Translation Pilot Grant Program, which is now accepting letters of intent, and several programs that are limited to CTSA program institutions and have less competition than other National Institutes of Health grants.

The Bench to Bedside and Beyond Seminar Series is held to encourage an engaged translational science workforce while promoting a culture of continuous improvement in research conduct and practice at Penn State.
