With just one day to go in Penn State Health and the College of Medicine’s 2021 United Way campaign, employees have pledged or donated $430,353 or 98.9% of the goal. If you haven’t had an opportunity to give yet, there’s still time. The campaign ends Friday, Nov. 19.
Your donation to United Way makes a real difference in people’s lives. More than 95% of the funds United Way raises goes to local programs and services:
- Contact to Care helps people access health care services that not only improve the quality of their lives, but save them.
- Workforce Development lifts people out of poverty by guiding them to living-wage jobs.
- Ready for School, Ready to Succeed prepares children for kindergarten and a lifetime of learning.
- Basic Needs helps vulnerable individuals and families get hot meals and a warm place to sleep.
