The COVID 19 pandemic has provided a stress test for the American health care system. In Rethinking Care, WPSU’s HumIn Focus April 2021 episode, health care is viewed through the lens of the humanities, focusing on ways to repair some of the inequities of the system, and provide better care for health care workers and patients alike.
Join the Department of Humanities at Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA on Sept. 29, 2021, at noon via zoom, as we watch Rethinking Care: Health Humanities and the Pandemic and then have a conversation with John Christman, PhD, and other featured Penn State College of Medicine Humanities faculty. Dr. Christman is a professor of Philosophy, Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and director of the Penn State Humanities Institute at Penn State.
